About Boyd Tire Pros

After working at Atlanta's largest independent tire company for over 10 years, George Boyd Jr. started his own store in May 1967.

Quality products and personal service was his motto. Along the way, he served the southern, eastern, and downtown Atlanta areas with five branch locations.

George Jr.'s sons, George III and Hudson, graduated college and joined their father in making George Boyd & Sons Tire Company a true family business. In 2021, George Jr.'s grandson, George IV, joined the Boyd Tire Pros family business.

George Jr. retired in February 2000 and his sons continue the tradition of fair prices with service you can trust.

Come visit us at our original East Point location for convenient and dependable service that you deserve.

I wish I can leave a negative stars. I took my car for oil change as you have my headlight replaced and left with my whole suspension airbag busted they do not did not want to take responsibility and told me I have bought it like that and I know for sure my car was working properly before I dropped it off. They did something to mess my car up and now they don’t want to fix it. I was strongly advise before dropping your car off to make sure you let them know nothing wrong with it because they will mess your car up and blame it on you and don’t take responsibility for anything

I have no one to blame but myself. I like to point out the reason that I'm giving this a one star is because of the following: #and again, it's my fault for not walking away. As you can see in the pictures that I have posted, I was the one that agreed to an $800 tune-up that didn't fix anything. [temp fix] On top of that, the problem kept consisting and I was told after spending $800 "that hey I need to take it someplace else" We can't figure out what's going on. Now - First and foremost it's your job to accurately diagnose what's going on. A tune-up may have been part of the problem, But it's still your job to accurately find out what's going on and it's still your duty to turn down a job because it may not fix the problem entirely Hence the situation that I'm in right now. I would definitely suggest them for tire work and minor suspension work But when it comes to a major repair and accuracy of a diagnosis I'd shy away from them. Excellent customer service, But poor diagnostics on the repair. And you have to remember for $800, you expect great results and unfortunately I'm still going through the same thing due to HONESTLY POOR DIAGNOSTICS. Around 2:30 a.m. in the morning

I’ve been coming to this family‑owned tire company for over 15 years, and I wouldn’t trust my tire safety to anyone else. They’re always upfront about what’s needed, take real pride in their work, and consistently deliver excellent service. You don’t just see their compassion for their customers — you genuinely feel it. They take the time to explain every step, and there are never any surprises when it comes to cost. On my latest visit, I brought in a new rim I had purchased online, and they mounted it to the tire I bought from them. The owner noticed my tire sensor light blinking and took the initiative to run a scan, discovering that one of the sensors wasn’t working — and surprisingly, it wasn’t the one on the new rim. After completing the work, he wouldn’t let me leave until the sensor light cycled properly and turned off. That level of care is truly going above and beyond, and it’s deeply appreciated. What makes this even more impressive is that I had just been to a major dealership, and they never mentioned anything about my sensors or tire issues — other than trying to sell me a new tire. This company’s honesty, attention to detail, and genuine concern for customer safety

Great friendly, prompt service. I had a nail in my tire and they took it in within 10 minutes and fixed it quickly. It’s apparent everyone there cares about providing good service. The facility is spacious. I would highly recommend this shop.

Had a slow leak in tire and they pulled the culprit (in pic) cool thing, they have some glass jars with what they have pulled from tires. Thanks Atlanta construction🤗 Everyone I dealt with was super nice and FRIENDLY! quick service and 2 hours as George IV said. Waited in awesome waiting area(gotta check it out) picture window to observe mechanic area🤠. $30 to patch. Thank you y'all! I will most def return for oil change when needed.
